Ear-health check
We examine the ears and discuss relevant symptoms and medical history.
Welcoming Gatwick travellers, staff and nearby residents · Crawley clinic
If your ear feels blocked or your hearing is muffled, book a private ear-wax assessment at our Crawley clinic. A qualified audiologist examines your ears first and removes wax by microsuction where clinically suitable.
Ear-wax removal near Gatwick Airport
Your audiologist discusses your symptoms, checks the ear canal and visible eardrum, and confirms whether microsuction is appropriate. Wax is removed carefully under direct vision, followed by a post-treatment check and aftercare advice.
We examine the ears and discuss relevant symptoms and medical history.
Where suitable, wax is removed with a fine suction probe under direct vision.
We re-check the ears and explain the findings and sensible next steps.
Blocked ears and flying
Ear wax may cause fullness or muffled hearing, but air-pressure changes, congestion and other ear conditions can produce similar symptoms before or after a flight. We examine the ear before treatment and only perform microsuction when wax is present and removal is clinically suitable.
Sudden or rapidly worsening hearing loss, severe pain, discharge or marked dizziness requires urgent medical advice rather than a routine wax appointment.
Follow the advice given when booking. You may be asked to use suitable wax-softening drops for 3–5 days. Tell us about previous ear surgery, a suspected perforation, grommets, pain, discharge or troublesome dizziness.
We welcome airport staff, travellers, hotel guests and residents from Gatwick, Horley, Charlwood, Lowfield Heath, Manor Royal and surrounding areas.
